We have been asked if the ES62's are as good as the
US64 for battery charging?       YES!!!

ES62's produce higher amps than the US64's. In charging terms (you want more amps when charging).

If you use a MPPT Charge Controller such as a Morningstar Sunsaver, Outback or a similar charge controller, you connect two ES62 in series which increases the current from 12volts to 24Volts.

The MPPT controls the charge current to suit a 12volt system (@14.5volts). Which means you do not over charge your batteries but gives you the maximum amount of charge throughout the day even in low light. 

This gives you the best possible output and battery charging from your solar panels in low light or shaded conditions, even out performing the US64's.
